The Absorbent Mind and Homo Sapiens

Am I the only person who feels history is a subject that is not dealt with adequately at school? Everything about our lives is directly or indirectly a consequence of a historical event, significant or insignificant. “Sapiens: A brief history of mankind” written by Yuval Noah Harari is a book I picked up and just enjoyed reading so much. As a Montessori practitioner, I could draw analogies from the evolution of man as explained in the book to the absorbent mind of a new born baby that Dr. Maria Montessori explains so beautifully.
